The Notodden Blues Festival (NBF) is one of the largest blues music festivals in Europe and the largest in Scandinavia. Established in 1988 in Notodden, Norway, the annual festival was designated as Norway's official Knutepunktfestival for blues in 2007. In 2010, it was honored with the "Keeping The Blues Alive Award" for best international blues festival by the Blues Foundation in Memphis. The event features a wide array of international and local blues, soul, and rock stars, drawing tens of thousands of attendees each year.
