Book of Love is an American synth-pop and electronic band formed in Philadelphia in 1983. Comprised of Susan Ottaviano, Ted Ottaviano, Jade Lee, and Lauren Roselli, they are known for melodic synth lines and danceable beats. Popular songs include "Boy," "I Touch Roses," and "Pretty Boys and Pretty Girls," which notably addressed the AIDS epidemic. The group achieved success on US dance charts and toured with Depeche Mode.
