Brad H. Gerstenfeld, known professionally as Brad Garrett, is an American actor and stand-up comedian. Initially successful as a stand-up comedian in the early 1980s, he won the grand championship on Star Search in 1984. He achieved widespread recognition for his breakthrough role as Robert Barone on the hit CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond, which earned him three Primetime Emmy Awards. Garrett is also a prolific voice actor, known for lending his distinctive deep voice to animated films such as Finding Nemo and Ratatouille, and he currently owns Brad Garrett's Comedy Club at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
