Bugo, born Cristian Bugatti in Rho, Italy, rose from the alternative scene with "La prima gratta" and later signed with a major label in 2002. Known as a "fantautore," his albums such as "Contatti" in 2008 and "Nuovi Rimedi Per La Miopia" in 2011 earned acclaim, the latter being featured in a Venice Film Festival movie. Hailed as a music icon by The Guardian and dubbed an "elusive revolutionary" by Rolling Stone, he topped vinyl sales with "Nessuna scala da salire" in 2016. He rocked Sanremo's stage in 2020 and 2021, leaving an indelible mark before his final show in Milan.
