Conjunto Atardecer, formed in 2000 in Santa Maria del Oro, Durango, became a top duranguense band with hits like "Los Número Uno del Pasito Duranguense." Signed with Universal Latino, they toured the U.S. and faced tragedy in 2009 when drummer Rob Villa was killed.
