Formed in Jamaica in 1976 by Joseph Hill, Albert Walker, and Roy Dayes, roots reggae vocal trio Culture defined Rastafarian protest music. Their acclaimed 1977 debut album, Two Sevens Clash, became a landmark release. Following Hill's death in 2006, his son Kenyatta Hill became lead singer.
