Dark, Latin Groove (DLG) emerged from New York's Latin club scene, blending salsa with reggae, hip-hop, and house. Discovered by producer Sergio George, vocalists Huey Dunbar and James "Da Barba" de Jesus front the group. DLG debuted with their self-titled album in 1996, known for its dynamic sound and featuring talented musicians like Marc Quiñones and Ruben Rodriguez.
