About Dweezil Zappa

Born to Frank and Gail Zappa in 1969, Dweezil Zappa became a guitar prodigy influenced by Eddie Van Halen. Known for hit "Valley Girl," maintaining his father's complex art rock legacy, and feuds over Zappa Plays Zappa rights. Collaborated with Steve Vai and starred in "Normal Life."

Dweezil Zappa, son of legendary musician Frank Zappa is paying homage to his father’s music on his latest tour. Zappa has been touring for many years with his father’s music, culminating in this latest tribute to mark 50 years. Dweezil has been bringing the music to fans young and old for over 18 years now. Frank Zappa’s albums Apostrophe and Roxy & Elsewhere are some of his most influential and successful albums. This tour is going to be built around the music from those albums.

This tour, dubbed Rox(postroph)y, is set to kick off in January for 34 dates across North America. Zappa will take his father’s music through California, Florida, Texas, New York and Ontario among other states and territories. There are also VIP options for this tour. The Ultimate experience comes with a venue tour, premium seat, soundcheck and Q&A, photo opportunity with Frank’s guitars and exclusive merch.
