DYS, a Boston, Massachusetts-born hardcore punk band, emerged from the 1980s "Boston Crew." Known for their straight edge ethos, they pioneered the "crossover" sound, blending hardcore with heavy metal. Their influential debut album, "Brotherhood," remains highly regarded. Reformed in 2010, they continue to deliver their powerful sound, releasing singles like "Wild Card" and "Sound of Our Town."
