Edwyn Collins, born in Edinburgh, is a Scottish singer/songwriter known for leading Orange Juice and his solo hit "A Girl Like You." Influenced by punk and pop, he co-founded the Postcard label, released Orange Juice's acclaimed singles, and achieved solo success with albums like Gorgeous George. Collins collaborated with artists including Robert Forster and Roddy Frame, and produced acts such as The Rockingbirds. After overcoming severe health issues, he recorded multiple solo projects and co-runs the label Analogue Enhanced Digital. Collins has built studios in West Hampstead and the Scottish Highlands.
