Embla and the Karidotters, led by former Razika drummer Embla Karidotter, won a Spellemann for their debut. Their honky tonk noir sound, seen in "Off Leash," features influences from Morricone and Lynch films. The band, including members from Honningbarna and Sløftface, played at Stagecoach, Øya, and SXSW.
