Swedish pop/rock singer Eva Dahlgren, born in Umeå, broke through with 1989 hit “Ängeln i Rummet.” Her 1991 album En Blekt Blondins Hjärta won five Grammis and spawned “Vem Tänder Stjärnorna” and “Kom Och Håll Om Mig.” Also a gay rights activist and author.
