Formed in 2007, Extra Life blends aggressive math rock, dramatic pop, and classical influences. Founded by Charlie Looker, who collaborated with Xiu Xiu, John Zorn, and more. The band went on hiatus in 2013 and returned in 2022 with a refreshed lineup including Toby Driver.
