About Five For Fighting

Five for Fighting is John Ondrasik's solo act, famed for hits like "Superman (It's Not Easy)" and "100 Years." Raised in L.A.'s San Fernando Valley, he blends emotive pop/rock with influences from Billy Joel and Stevie Wonder. He gained fame post-9/11, performed at the Concert for New York City, and saw America Town go platinum. Collaborations include Steven Schwartz and Jim Brickman. Known for poignant lyrics, Ondrasik critiques political issues through songs like "Blood on My Hands."
