Formed in Bellville, South Africa, Fokofpolisiekar is a post-hardcore band known for their bold social commentary. Their provocative debut EP, *As Jy met Vuur Speel Sal Jy Brand*, and tracks like "Hemel op de Platteland," gained widespread attention. With albums like *Lugsteuring* and *Swanesang*, they influenced African music by tackling Afrikaner identity and challenging conservative norms.
