Gary Crosby OBE, born in London of Jamaican heritage, is a celebrated jazz double bassist, composer, and educator. A founding member of the Jazz Warriors, he leads groups like Jazz Jamaica, known for fusing Jamaican rhythms with jazz. Crosby is also acclaimed for co-founding Tomorrow's Warriors, developing young talent. His many honors include the Queen's Medal for Music.
