Giant Day is a psych-pop duo formed by Derek Almstead and Emily Growden, originating from the Athens, Georgia music scene and part of The Elephant 6 Collective. Their distinctive sound blends pop, psychedelic, and synth-pop with darker elements, creating rich, danceable music. Almstead is known for his work with The Olivia Tremor Control and of Montreal, while Growden contributed to Marshmallow Coast. They released albums like Glass Narcissus and Alarm.
