Larry Gowan, born in Glasgow and raised in Ontario, is a rock vocalist known for solo hits like "(You're A) Strange Animal" and "A Criminal Mind." A classically trained pianist, he replaced Dennis DeYoung as Styx’s lead singer in 1999, collaborating with names like Tony Levin and Jon Anderson.
