Born in England, Graham Parker is a celebrated singer/songwriter known for his fusion of rock & roll and folk-rock, infused with biting sarcasm and passion. Emerging from the pub rock scene in the '70s with the Rumour, he gained acclaim with albums like "Howlin' Wind" and "Squeezing Out Sparks." Parker's US breakthrough, hit single "Wake Up (Next to You)," was his only Top 40 hit. He later reunited with the Rumour for Judd Apatow's film "This Is 40." Known for his collaborations with Nick Lowe and others, Parker's enduring style is marked by sharp, witty lyrics.
