The Gurtenfestival is an annual music festival held on top of the Gurten mountain in Bern, Switzerland. Established in 1977 as a small folk festival, it has since grown into one of the largest and most popular music events in the country, attracting around 80,000 visitors annually. Operating over four days in July, the festival features a mainstream and pop-focused lineup that includes major international acts, rising talents, and local Swiss artists performing across multiple live stages and dance tents.
