Comprised of chief songwriter Kyle Thomas (aka King Tuff), Ruth Garbus, and Chris Weisman, indie rock group Happy Birthday formed and signed to Sub Pop in November 2008 in their hometown of Brattleboro, Vermont. The trio is known for their buzzy, lo-fi power pop songs and tightly structured tunes with catchy hooks, debuting with a self-titled album in March 2010.
