Formed in 1992 in Tuva, Huun-Huur-Tu is a vocal group known for xoomei throat singing, producing multiple notes at once. They’ve collaborated with Frank Zappa, Kronos Quartet and Ry Cooder, and released Fly, Fly My Sadness (1994) and Mountain Tale (1998).
