Born in Germany, Jan Jelinek is known for transforming popular music into abstract textures using sound collages. He collaborates with Sven-Åke Johansson and Masayoshi Fujita, co-founded Groupshow, and established the faitiche label. Since 2012, he has produced experimental radio plays for SWR.
