Jari Sillanpää, a Finnish-Swedish singer born in Ludvika, Sweden, is a celebrated "Tango King" known for his expressive vocals in iskelmä and pop. He won the 1995 Tangomarkkinat contest. His debut album is Finland's best-seller. He has sold over 820,000 records and received the Male Soloist of the Year Emma award. Popular songs include "Satulinna" and "Takes 2 to Tango".
