Born in Basel, Switzerland, pianist Jean-Paul Brodbeck blends jazz and classical styles. Known for "A Different Mind," he's collaborated with Lionel Hampton, Wolfgang Muthspiel, and Kurt Rosenwinkel. Brodbeck co-founded the hip-hop group Chapter 12, performs in trios, and teaches at Lucerne's University of Music.
