Jim Kweskin, a Boston-born folk musician, led the Jim Kweskin Jug Band, blending pre-WWII rural sounds with humor. Collaborators included Geoff and Maria Muldaur; banjoist Bill Keith joined later. Known for lively folk performances and TV appearances, the band helped shape the jug band revival of the ’60s.
