Joe Clarke is an American jazz singer, pianist, educator, and bandleader based in Charleston, South Carolina. He has entertained the local community for more than 30 years and opened the Forte Jazz Lounge in 2019 to serve as a cultural centerpiece for the region's music scene. Known for his lifelong love of big band standards, Clarke is the founder of the celebrated Forte Big Band and notably served as the historic jazz music advisor for the romantic drama film The Notebook.
