A six-time Jazz Journalists Association “Mallet Instrumentalist of the Year” winner, he has topped critics' polls and won awards like the 2013 Hot House NYC Jazz Award. Locke teaches at the Manhattan School of Music and is an Honorary Associate at the Royal Academy of Music, London.
