Seville-born singer/songwriter José Manuel Soto began in choirs and bands, releasing debut album Desde Mi Orilla (1986). Signed to CBS in 1988 for his romantic rumba crossover, he scored hits with Por Ella, Como una Luz and Déjate Querer.
