KITA is a Pōneke/Wellington-based electronic dream-trio formed in 2020, consisting of Taiwan-born vocalist, guitarist, and storyteller Nikita 雅涵 Tu-Bryant, keyboardist Ed Zuccollo, and drummer Rick Cranson. The band is recognized for their genre-fluid sound that blends synth-pop, folk, soul, and psychedelia with modern jazz and vintage rock. In addition to releasing their self-titled debut album in 2021 and the 2023 EP Love Lives Here, they inspired and scored a trilingual art-house film of the same name scheduled for a 2026 international release.
