Formed in Medellín, Colombia, in 1984, Kraken is a heavy metal and hard rock band shaped by the country's harsh realities. Led by late vocalist Elkin Ramírez, the group became a pillar of Colombian rock. Following Ramírez's 2017 passing, Roxana Restrepo joined as lead vocalist in 2019 to preserve his legacy.
