He moved to London in 1960, gaining fame with hits like "Rudy Got Married" and collaborating with artists like the Potato 5. Aitken's music influenced the Two Tone ska revival and was covered by bands like UB40. He continued to tour and perform into the new millennium before passing away in 2005.
