Lorde, born Ella Yelich-O'Connor in New Zealand (1996), is a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter. Known for her introspective lyrics and genre-bending electropop, alternative, and synth-pop sound, she rose to fame with "Royals". Her critically acclaimed fourth album, "Virgin" (2025), marked a return to electronic pop, featuring the hit "What Was That". She is currently touring globally.
