Richard Salwitz, aka Magic Dick (born 1945 in New London, Connecticut), is the harmonica player known for shaping the blues-rock sound of the J. Geils Band. He co-wrote “Whammer Jammer” and appeared on Buddy Guy & Junior Wells Play the Blues (1972).
