Marcy Playground formed in mid-’90s New York City by Minneapolis natives John Wozniak and Dylan Keefe with Ohio-raised drummer Dan Rieser. Signed to Capitol, their 1997 self-titled debut went platinum on the hit single Sex and Candy.
