Meanstreak, formed in 1985 in Westchester County, NY, was a notable all-female thrash metal band known for their talent and integrity. Guitarists Marlene Apuzzo and Rena Sands led with Bettina France, Lisa Pace, and Diane Keyser, producing their debut "Roadkill" in 1988. Managed by Loud and Proud, they opened for bands like Anthrax and Manowar. They are also known for Apuzzo, Sands, and Pace marrying Dream Theater members. Despite a brief career, they made a significant impact.
