Michael Colyar, born in Chicago, Illinois, is an acclaimed comedian, actor, and author. Known as "The King of Venice Beach" for his dynamic street performances, he gained national recognition winning "Star Search" in 1990. Colyar is celebrated for his energetic stand-up, roles in "House Party 3" and as Mr. Whitaker on "Martin," and hosting "BET Live From LA." He was honored with his prints on the Venice boardwalk.
