Moonsoon is a progressive rock project based in Bergen, Norway, consisting of a partnership between drummer and vocalist Helge Nyheim and sound technician, producer, and studio musician Daniel Hauge. Formed after collaborating on various projects over the years, the duo creates music characterized by progressive rock blended with art-rock, neo-prog, and strong cinematic and symphonic elements, drawing notable influence from Pink Floyd. They released their debut studio album, East of Asteroid, in May 2025 through Apollon Records to strong critical attention within the international progressive rock community.
