Formed in late '60s Morocco, Nass El Ghiwane fused Melhoun poetry with Sufi chants, using instruments like guembri and lute. Known for critiquing political issues, they were featured in the documentary Al Hal (1981). Key members included Laarbi Batma and Boujemaa Hagour.
