The Ohio State Fair is an annual state fair held in Columbus, Ohio at the Ohio Expo Center and State Fairgrounds. Established in 1850, it is one of the largest state fairs in the United States, celebrating Ohio's products, people, and agricultural achievements. Initially a nomadic event that traveled to various cities across Ohio during its first 24 years, the fair permanently settled in Columbus in 1874 and moved to its current location in 1886. Today, the 12-day exposition features agricultural competitions, livestock exhibitions, a popular butter cow sculpture, a fine arts show, rides, and a concert series that attracts nearly one million visitors annually.
