Phew, born Hiromi Moritani in Osaka, is a pioneering artist known for her avant-garde rock and electronic styles. Originally in Aunt Sally, she worked with Ryuichi Sakamoto and Can members. Known for 1981's *Phew* and 1992's *Our Likeness*, she's collaborated with Otomo Yoshihide, Novo Tono, and the Raincoats' Ana Da Silva. Her distinct sound earned acclaim through works like 2021's *New Decade*.
