Born in Colchester, England, DJ/producer Ray Keith was a key figure in the ’80s–’90s breakbeat and drum’n’bass scene. Known for Orbital’s “Chime” remix and the jump-up anthem “Terrorist,” he founded labels Penny Black, Dread and UFO in 1996.
