Renee Christine, an Americana singer-songwriter and cellist from outside Philadelphia, PA, creates folk-punk protest music. Known for her guttural voice and candid lyrics, she explores societal pain. Her debut EP, Appalachia, and singles like "Turtle Island" and "Lehigh Valley" showcase her unique style. She won the ASCAP Writers' Showcase in 2022 and collaborated with producer Doug Schadt.
