Ricardo Alexandre Paulo Ribeiro, known professionally as Ricardo Ribeiro, is a Portuguese fado singer born on August 19, 1981, in Lisbon. Recognized as one of the leading voices in contemporary fado, he made his commercial debut in 2004 with his eponymous album, which earned him the Male Revelation Prize from the Amália Rodrigues Foundation. Over his career, he has achieved international acclaim, collaborating with Lebanese composer Rabih Abou-Khalil and releasing successful albums such as Porta do Coração (2010), Hoje é assim, amanhã não sei (2016), and Terra Que Vale O Céu (2023).
