Ritchie, born Richard David Court in Beckenham, England, became a celebrated pop star in Brazil after moving there in 1972. Known for his new wave and synth-pop style, he achieved widespread fame with hits like "Menina Veneno" and "Vôo de Coração." His debut LP, "Vôo de Coração," went multiplatinum with five #1 singles. He also collaborated with Brazilian music legends.
