Dublin-born musician and actor Robert Arkins is celebrated for his role as Jimmy Rabbitte in 'The Commitments.' A multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, he fronts Robert Arkins Commitments, performing soul, Detroit, and Northern Soul. He contributed vocals to 'Treat Her Right' and 'Slip Away' on the film's soundtrack. Arkins earlier led the award-winning band Housebroken.
