Rough Francis are a rock band from Burlington, VT, inspired by the proto-punk band Death, formed by the Hackney brothers in Detroit. Known for hard rock and melodic accents, they gained recognition by playing Death reunion shows and opening for Mos Def. Their EP, "Introducing... Rough Francis," debuted in 2010.
