Born in Cork, Ireland, Simple Kid, previously Ciaran McFeely of Young Offenders, blends British rock influences with lo-fi beats reminiscent of Beck. Known for hits like "I Am Rock" and "Truck On," he found success and a cult following with his album 1 and later 2. He's famous for his back-to-basics production style, using minimal studio gear.
