About Sort Sol

Sort Sol, a Danish rock band from Copenhagen, formed in 1977 as punk outfit Sods, later embracing post-punk and gothic rock. Known for Steen Jørgensen's deep voice, they achieved acclaim with albums like "Glamourpuss" and "Flow My Firetear". Collaborations include Lydia Lunch and Link Wray. They won multiple Danish Grammy awards, establishing themselves as pioneers of Danish alternative music.
