Soulsister is a Belgian pop-rock duo formed in 1986 by vocalist Paul Michiels and guitarist Jan Leyers, initially performing under the name The Soul Sisters. They rose to international prominence with their 1988 Motown-inspired hit single "The Way to Your Heart," which achieved charting success across Europe and reached the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States. Known for blending soul, pop, and rock influences, the group released several successful albums including It Takes Two and Heat before splitting in 1995, later reuniting in 2007 for extensive touring and new material.
